Journals

Journals are to be written in the journal composition notebook and kept all year long. All rotation dates are written on the cover as well as on the bulletin board in the classroom. Please ask to see your child's journal from time to time so you can see your child's progress on different writing assignments throughout the year.

Course Overview

Welcome to 7th Grade Core! Core class meets for two periods each day, with one period of English and one period of history. English includes a variety of literature (fiction and nonfiction) and writing tasks. History covers the Ancient World - from the Fall of Rome (around the world and across time) to the Age of Exploration.

Supplies - NEEDED DAILY

* binder paper

*composition notebook

*ear buds

* mechanical pencils WITH extra lead or

* pencils with sharpener

* eraser(s)

* red pen(s)

* highlighters (two colors, minimum)

NOTE: REMEMBER TO REFERENCE THE CORE SUPPLY LIST AS NEEDED
