 Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year, where I am Olympus' intervention co-teacher. I work with pupils in Access 8 Math 2nd period alongside Ms Cramer, 8th grade English Language Arts with Mrs. Lewis 3rd, and 7th grade ELA with Mrs. O'Brien.   Together, students, parents, and school staff work  to further academic progress and develop positive attitudes.  In keeping with the federally mandated Common Core Standards, there will be an emphasis on critical thinking skills and writing; LOTS of text supported writing.  

Access 8 is utilizing both the 7th and 8th grade math books; one for reviewing essential skills, the other to introduce and practice new concepts.  This is the first year of our new ELA adoption, Amplify, a comprehensive online program that your students can log onto at home.  This means you can ask them at any time what they are working on plus review goals, skills, and their assignments.  

At Olympus, teachers use Google Classroom, Google Documents, Google Classroom, Google Calendar, and other Google formats to connect, and share assignments.  If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at:
